Bio is a decentralized science protocol that helps launch and grow AI-driven biotech research. It enables scientists to raise funds, create value from their work, and distribute that value directly to their communities. Since 2023, Bio has directed over $50m to global researchers, offering an alternative to traditional pharma funding.

Responsibilities

• Ship deployed, user-facing MVPs fast
• Build connectors and integrations for messy external data sources like Fitbit, Whoop, EHRs, and public bio-databases
• Translate complex, non-deterministic AI outputs into clean, actionable UI/UX
• Prototype new use cases and validate them with real users
• Own the application layer to free up the core team to focus on the AI reasoning engine

Requirements

• Track record of shipping products quickly
• Full-stack skills with a bias toward frontend and user experience
• Experience integrating with messy, undocumented, or inconsistent APIs
• Strong product intuition and user-centric mindset
• Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and rapid iteration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building UIs for AI/ML systems or non-deterministic outputs
• Familiarity with health/fitness data platforms or healthcare APIs
• Background in design or a strong eye for UI/UX
• Interest in biology, health tech, or personal analytics
