Product Engineer (Frontend) - Investments Team

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain employer and employee-facing UIs for pension and retirement products using React and modern frontend frameworks
• Translate complex financial data and workflows into clear, elegant, and intuitive interfaces
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability
• Create reusable components and design patterns to be shared across the broader Kota platform
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and backend engineers to ship features quickly and reliably
• Own your code in production by debugging issues, responding to incidents, and improving reliability

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience building production web applications
• Proficiency in React and familiarity with Remix.js, Next.js, or React Router
• Strong UX and design instincts with a focus on how interfaces feel and function
• Experience working with TypeScript and TailwindCSS
• Experience consuming REST APIs
• Ability to thrive in small, fast-moving teams with high levels of ownership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FinTech, pensions, or financial services
• Familiarity with Vercel
• Experience building design systems or accessibility-first UIs
