About the Company

The European Payments Initiative is changing the way Europe pays with Wero, a proudly European digital wallet designed to make payments easier, clearer, and more secure. Backed by 16 major banks and the two largest European acquirers, Wero is building a brand new, pan-European payment system.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with company objectives
• Define and manage an overarching strategic roadmap including key milestones and features
• Own and drive product growth topics such as onboarding, user activation, engagement, and retention
• Prioritize features based on user behavior, data insights, and business impact
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to translate insights into actionable tasks
• Manage relationships with EPI member banks as key stakeholders
• Make trade-offs between technical constraints and product features
• Report regularly to the Head of Product on development cycles

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, ideally in fintech or payments
• Experience developing and launching consumer mobile apps (iOS/Android)
• Experience managing app presence and performance across app stores
• Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English (C1 or C2 level)
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote, multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in French, German, Dutch, or other European languages
• Knowledge of the payment industry, regulatory requirements, and security standards
