Product Manager - Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Own the platform primitives for Supabase, including compute, disks, networking, and the API gateway.
• Manage external infrastructure features such as read replicas, custom domains, PrivateLink, and Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC).
• Engage with a diverse customer spectrum, from indie developers to large enterprises, to identify blockers and define roadmaps.
• Define problem statements, requirements, and success metrics for every platform bet, balancing cost, capacity, and reliability.
• Prioritize product development by deciding which features to build, defer, or cut to meet enterprise and community needs.
• Maintain alignment across engineering, design, and leadership to manage dependencies across all Supabase products.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, specifically within developer tools or as a technical founder.
• Proven track record of shipping cloud infrastructure products (compute, networking, storage, or multi-tenant systems).
• Deep technical proficiency in architecture and design, with the ability to engage in technical discussions.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure trade-offs, such as instance sizing, storage economics, and multi-region scaling.
• Ability to work asynchronously, making decisions in writing and driving progress without constant meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise infrastructure procurement and connectivity (e.g., PrivateLink, BYOC).
• A bias toward speed and a preference for iterative shipping and learning.
• Hands-on experience running real workloads on the types of infrastructure products you manage.
