About the Company

Swarm Aero is redefining air power, building the largest swarming UAV and the most versatile swarming aircraft network in the world. The team consists of experts from top aerospace companies like Airbus, Blue Origin, and Scaled Composites, focused on developing advanced Command & Control software for autonomous assets.

Responsibilities

• Own the swarm software product roadmap, including C2 and autonomy across multiple domains
• Author precise product requirements (PRDs) for distributed systems and hardware-integrated software
• Drive alignment between product vision, engineering capacity, and real-world operator needs
• Lead customer discovery sessions with operators and mission planners to validate assumptions
• Manage the product backlog, sprint planning, and release processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager owning complex, technically deep products
• Proven track record of shipping software in mission-critical contexts (defense, aerospace, or robotics)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with command-and-control systems or autonomous systems
• Familiarity with systems architecture and hardware/software co-development cycles
• Experience working alongside government programs or defense contractors
