Product Owner, AI-Driven Mobile Experience, UAE (Contractor)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Lead and stakeholders to define and deconstruct complex business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog for multiple development squads, aligning with the project roadmap and MVP launch features
• Champion the development of core functionalities, including seamless digital onboarding, subscription models, usage management, and a secure digital wallet
• Own the definition, validation, and optimization of user journeys, ensuring intuitive experiences and personalized AI-driven recommendations
• Work closely with Product Designers to build a scalable Figma Design System and UI Storybook for efficient, pixel-perfect development
• Translate business process flows and user needs into functional requirements for advanced AI system integration
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement adaptive, AI-powered UIs that respond to user interactions in real time
• Support the creation of a scalable AI integration architecture compatible with multiple large language models
• Act as the primary point of contact for business process expertise with development teams and client SMEs
• Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders, design, and engineering teams to ensure shared product goals
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to drive delivery and continuous improvement
• Be present onsite in Dubai at least 4 days per week

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience as a Product Owner in agile development, preferably in mobile applications
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and experience with AI/ML product delivery
• Proven ability to translate complex business/user needs into user stories and technical requirements
• Familiarity with UI/UX design and collaboration using Figma
• Knowledge of mobile app development; Flutter or native experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong creative problem-solving and user experience focus
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly desirable
• Registered as a UAE sole proprietor (freelancer or LLC) or willingness to register before project start
