Product Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with the product team to define new features
• Define implementation strategies and collaborate on implementation
• Deliver features with a user-oriented mindset
• Write design documents for complex problems
• Write clean and performant code
• Develop use-case demos to demonstrate system strengths
• Implement applications from quantitative domains like financial analysis and physics simulation
• Identify product limitations and help close gaps

Requirements

• Experience turning research software into commercial products
• Applied mathematical modeling in finance or scientific applications
• Experience in collaborative commercial software environments (CI/CD, testing, code reviews)
• Strong foundation in computer science algorithms and data structures
• Proficiency in Julia, Rust, OCaml, Clojure, C++, or Haskell
• Experience with profiling and performance optimization
• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics
