Product Software Engineer

About the Company

PlantingSpace is building a system that represents domain knowledge as modular probabilistic models, making analysis rigorous and transparent. Our applications span finance and scientific research, including equity valuation and particle physics.

Responsibilities

• Define new features or fixes based on overall objectives
• Commit to delivering defined features or fixes end-to-end
• Define implementation strategies and work with others to implement them
• Write design documents for complex problems
• Write clean and performant code
• Help other team members to deliver on their goals

Requirements

• Full stack expertise across frontend, backend for frontend, and backend
• Experience working with users or product managers to architect solutions
• Experience building dynamic user interfaces
• Familiarity with databases (Postgres, Redis), networking, and auth
• Proficiency in TypeScript or functional/typed languages (Julia, Rust, OCaml, Clojure, C++, or Haskell)
• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building interfaces with React Flow
• Experience with React, Vue, Svelte, or NextJS
