Production Specialist

Responsibilities

• Build and review fundraising emails and automations in Mailchimp, Beehiiv, Active Campaign, and other ESPs
• Manage deadlines and priorities for multiple client fundraising campaigns
• Create and maintain internal and client-facing documentation
• Troubleshoot ESP features like segmentation and template formatting
• Develop reports and slide decks as needed
• Respond to customer service requests related to email production

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in email marketing, newsletter production, or related area
• Experience with email service providers such as Mailchimp, Active Campaign, and Beehiiv
• Experience running and analyzing A/B tests for emails
• Knowledge of email deliverability, reputation, and analytics
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to self-motivate, self-manage, and work remotely

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a newsroom or passion for journalism
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Copyediting skills
