Program Synthesis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define new features or fixes based on overall objectives
• Commit to delivering defined features or fixes end-to-end
• Define implementation strategies
• Write design documents for complex problems
• Write clean and performant code
• Leverage team expertise and help others deliver on their goals

Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing complex, non-standard algorithms (graph theory, path finding, custom inference, compilers)
• Experience in a collaborative, commercial software engineering environment
• Proficiency with CI/CD, testing, and code reviews

Preferred Qualifications

• Implementation of program synthesis frameworks
• Strong foundation in computer science algorithms and data structures
• Experience with Julia, Rust, OCaml, Clojure, C++, or Haskell
• Experience with profiling and low-level performance optimization
• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics
