Project Finance - Manager

Responsibilities

Operations:

• Manage a portfolio of active assignments.
• Lead creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and refine assumptions, parameters, and scenarios to ensure model robustness and reliability.
• Review and interpret commercial documentation, ensuring accurate reflection in financial models.
• Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial modeling methodologies and tools.
• Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results.
• Maintain meticulous records of modeling processes and methodologies.
• Lead project planning, timelines, and resource allocation for effective project delivery.

People:

• Lead a team of modelling professionals.
• Train, motivate, and manage junior team members.
• Collaborate closely with team members and contribute to assignments.
• Communicate model findings and insights to clients and internal teams.
• Simplify complex financial model issues for non-technical stakeholders.

Growth:

• Support business development and growth ambitions in key business sectors.
• Lead the development of client pitches.
• Lead client calls and build client relationships.

Requirements

• Demonstrable Drive, Innovation, Collaboration, and Excellence.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial role within advisory practice or large corporate setting.
• Good appreciation of accounting concepts (accounting qualification is beneficial).
• In-depth understanding of Project Finance concepts.
• Strong analytical skills; expertise in building and operating financial models using Excel.
• Degree in a numerate discipline; postgraduate accounting or finance qualification beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Accounting qualification (advantageous).
• Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard.
• Postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance.
