Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for ERP/SIS projects
• Track and report on project budget
• Establish a project plan suitable for the size and scope of each assigned project
• Schedule and manage SIG resources and collaborate with the Resource Manager
• Work with clients to ensure appropriate resource assignment and manage implementation teams
• Provide advisory services to support organizational change management
• Track project progress and provide regular status reports to sponsors and executives
• Escalate project issues and identify potential setbacks
• Work with clients to develop risk management plans

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in Higher Education
• Experience with SaaS implementation
• Experience managing software enhancements, maintenance programs, and new releases
• Exceptional written, oral communication, and critical thinking skills
• Experience communicating and reporting at the executive level
• Proficiency with project management tools like Smartsheet
• Ability to lead multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously
• Experience with Ellucian Banner, Colleague, or other ERP/SIS systems
• Ability to travel to client campuses up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous consulting experience
• PMP certification
