Property Portfolio Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports for an assigned portfolio of approximately 30 properties
• Own the general ledger for assigned regions and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Present financial insights to internal and external stakeholders to facilitate business decisions
• Review financial statements prepared by centralized teams for compliance with management agreements
• Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning
• Manage and mentor junior accountants in the US and Mexico
• Oversee reconciliations and ensure timely payments to property partners
• Drive process improvements and automation within the accounting workflow
• Manage cash flow and treasury functions for the portfolio

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of property-level accounting experience in hospitality or real estate
• 1+ year of experience managing or mentoring team members
• Proficiency in hospitality accounting, cash flow forecasting, and portfolio reporting
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, XLOOKUP)
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP
• Strong understanding of GAAP and USALI reporting standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a remote environment
• Background in the hospitality industry
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack
