Psychiatric Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide regularly scheduled caseload consultation to Behavioral Health Care Managers
• Oversee the status and population health of assigned patient caseloads
• Recommend treatment adjustments, including medication recommendations, within 24 hours of consultation
• Advise on treatment for patients requiring more intensive or specialized mental health care
• Provide occasional ad hoc telephone consultation to primary care providers for complex cases

Requirements

• Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active license in Oregon
• Experience in a Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) or equivalent
• Ability to synthesize medical and psychiatric data for evidence-based recommendations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Dual Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
