Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth for new and returning patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications within scope of licensure
• Provide ongoing psychiatric care, including routine follow-ups and medication monitoring
• Collaborate with supervising physicians, therapists, and primary care providers
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EMR system
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines

Requirements

• CA license is required
• Willingness to obtain a TX license
• 2 years of psychiatric experience preferred
• Proficiency in administrative tasks and progress notes
• Ability to work a full-time Monday-Friday schedule
• Ability to manage 37 patient-facing hours per week
• Three professional references required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Experience treating ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder
