Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities

• Bid out and manage all contracts, submit invoices, and track project budgets
• Work with Field Managers to ensure contractors perform work per contract
• Negotiate lowest cost possible and source new products to improve quality and aesthetics
• Partner with senior management to determine spec levels
• Develop detailed scopes of work and budgets for each renovation job
• Manage, train, and fire General contractors and subcontractors
• Recruit new contractors and vendor relationships through networking and cold calls

Requirements

• 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder or remodeling company
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Spanish language skills (preferred)
