Purview Administrator

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test data governance and compliance policies, including data classification, labeling, and DLP policies
• Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview and integrated Microsoft 365 services
• Administer and manage role groups, custom roles, and permissions within the Purview portal
• Mitigate risks by protecting sensitive data and implementing information protection and insider risk management solutions
• Manage and support eDiscovery workflows, including data collection, search, and export
• Collaborate with data architects, IT, and security teams to enforce governance best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of progressive IT experience, or equivalent experience
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview administration
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance principles
• Experience with DLP, data classification, and sensitivity labeling
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience with risk assessments and audits

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting
• Experience with Treasury or IRS systems
