Python Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for user onboarding and activation flows, guiding users from first interaction to meaningful product usage.
• Build and optimize activation mechanics to grow the active user base and improve activation and retention metrics.
• Design and support systems for marketing-driven campaigns, including user communications, promotions, and incentive flows.
• Own services that validate and orchestrate onboarding steps, mass mailings, and gift distribution, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Analytics to translate growth hypotheses into technical solutions.
• Ensure high reliability and low latency for activation and campaign-related services; maintain SLAs.
• Improve backend architecture, observability, and fault tolerance of activation systems.
• Propose technical and product improvements driven by data, system behaviour, and user funnels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React and TypeScript (frontend familiarity)

• Familiarity with marketing campaign orchestration and mass mailing systems
• Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of crypto transactions, wallets or blockchain ecosystems
• Russian language skills are a plus
