Python Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop products and services that help customers analyze information in new and powerful ways
• Troubleshoot technical issues
• Implement and maintain web frameworks and server technologies
• Ensure high quality through strong testing processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of Python development or experience in Go, Java, or Ruby
• Understanding of SQL databases and database operations
• Familiarity with web frameworks and web server technologies
• Strong Python development skills
• Strong understanding of testing processes
• Strong written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Postgres or Greenplum databases
• Experience building enterprise-level web services
• Experience with highly scalable asynchronous computing workloads and message queues
• Experience with JSON-RPC APIs
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, or SQLAlchemy
• Experience with JupyterLab or Apache Superset
• Experience with GitOps processes and Kubernetes deployments
• Experience with large scale data analytics
• Experience with Git
