QA Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual test cases across web, backend, and mobile applications
• Review product requirements and user stories to ensure testability
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
• Conduct API validation testing to verify system integrations
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
• Ensure software meets healthcare compliance requirements like HIPAA

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software QA or quality assurance analysis
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience with manual testing, test planning, and defect tracking tools
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation
• Exposure to CI/CD environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of automation testing
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR
