Job description

Responsibilities

  • Establish the testing strategy to ensure the quality of Stormforge for its Early Access launch
  • Develop comprehensive test plans covering both single-player and multiplayer modes
  • Combine exploratory gameplay testing with targeted automated tests
  • Architect, implement, and manage testing automations where appropriate
  • Work closely with the engineering team to find and document reproducible bugs
  • Test multiplayer systems including world persistence, synchronization, and edge cases
  • Test core survival gameplay loops such as crafting, combat, building, and progression
  • Provide feedback to the team regarding design, UI/UX, and overall player experience

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in video game QA, including QA engineering
  • Prior experience with shipped PC games
  • Proficiency with Unity and Git
  • Familiarity with C# for debugging or writing test tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD test pipelines
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted test development
  • Passion for survival crafting games
  • Previous game design experience
