QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform automated and API testing for complex applications and scenarios
• Develop and maintain end-to-end test frameworks for web and mobile
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Document plans for anticipated risks and blockers to increase team velocity
• Serve as a technical SME during sprints to ensure successful delivery
• Mentor peers and junior team members through code reviews and collaboration
• Present testing plans, metrics, and insights during sprint reviews

Requirements

• 5-8 years of professional experience in automated testing
• Deep expertise in Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium (TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python)
• Experience with Appium for mobile testing (iOS and Android)
• Proficiency in CI/CD integration and environment management
• Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch
• Proven ability to present technical value to client stakeholders
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with accessibility testing principles
• Strong understanding of business outcomes in software development
