QA Engineer - External Contractor (Immediate Start)

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, UAT, and automation testing. • Perform thorough manual and automation testing on web applications covering UI, functional, responsiveness, and end-to-end scenarios. • Contribute towards Designing, implementing and maintaining automation scripts for regression and smoke testing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright). • Document test results, report bugs, and track them to closure using JIRA. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements, identify edge cases, and ensure optimal test coverage. • Contribute to test planning, estimation, and execution in alignment with Agile/Scrum workflows. • Participate in release validation, post-release testing, and continuous integration pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience in manual and automation testing, ideally across both web and mobile platforms. • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test types, and defect lifecycle management. • Hands-on experience with mobile app testing frameworks and automation tools (e.g., , Selenium, Playwright ,TestNG). • Familiarity with tools such as Zephyr or similar test case management systems. • Proven ability to design test automation frameworks for regression and smoke testing. • Experience in writing clear and concise test cases, bug reports, and automation scripts. • Knowledge of performance, integration, and security testing is a plus. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
