QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for various product features
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for front-end applications and APIs/back end services using Cypress or Playwright
• Conduct comprehensive permutations, combinations, and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases
• Monitor the CI/CD regression testing pipeline and track bugs through to resolution
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on acceptance criteria and solution designs
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Hands-on experience building UI automation using Cypress and Playwright
• Hands-on experience building API service test automation using Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, or Postman
• Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and best practices
• Deep knowledge of QA fundamentals and test management tools like Zephyr or TestRail
• Experience working within Scrum and Kanban frameworks
• Experience working in a Fintech, Wealth Management, or Financial Services firm
