Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain frontend UI automation for an Angular/TypeScript application (Playwright, Cypress or similar)
- Develop and execute manual test plans, exploratory testing and regression suites
- Implement BDD test scenarios using Gherkin and collaborate with product and engineering on acceptance criteria
- Introduce best-in-class automation practices and strengthen QA processes in a greenfield environment
- Collaborate with QA Lead and cross-functional teams to prioritize and validate UI/UX quality
- Triage defects, verify fixes and maintain test documentation in Jira/Confluence
- Contribute to performance testing and report findings to engineering

About the Company
UMATR's client is a growing SaaS company focused on simplifying global regulatory compliance for financial institutions. The team is expanding its QA function in Abu Dhabi and seeks a hands-on QA Frontend Automation Engineer to help shape automated and manual testing practices. This is an onsite role in Abu Dhabi with hybrid options available after probation. Applications will only be considered from candidates based in the UAE.
