QA Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to help teams deliver high-quality software
• Drive the testing lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment
• Design, develop, and maintain automated Web, Mobile, and API tests
• Manage team members' performance and career development
• Improve Continuous Integration pipelines and automation frameworks
• Align QA processes between different departments and stakeholders
• Track and record product issues and provide feedback for corrections

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role including mentoring and performance reviews
• Strong experience with Python
• Experience with automation testing for web (Selenium/Playwright) and mobile (Android/iOS)
• Solid understanding of integration, end-to-end, regression, and API testing
• Experience with web debugging and API testing tools like Chrome DevTools and Postman
• Working knowledge of relational databases (preferably MySQL)
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and Agile methodology

Preferred Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB)
• Experience with performance and stress testing
• Experience with Kubernetes
