QA Tester

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient QA workflows for mobile and PC games, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
• Develop, execute, and update test plans for new and existing features.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory tests, owning the quality and stability of game content and releases.
• Manage the bug lifecycle, including identification, reporting, tracking, and verification.
• Participate in bug triage meetings to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Assist in reproducing and diagnosing bugs as needed.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to gather information for QA coverage.
• Provide feedback on the quality of implemented features.
• Communicate release status and critical issues to the team.
• Prepare consolidated status reports for QA Lead and development team.
• Create detailed, actionable test reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience testing games on iOS, Android, and PC platforms
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting test results and identifying root causes
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Internal, Open, and Closed Beta testing
• Proficiency with QA tools and frameworks for mobile and PC game testing
• Ability to generate professional reports for stakeholders
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis)
• Experience in Agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Knowledge of Unity game engine and Unity Test Framework
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Passion for gaming and awareness of mobile/PC game market trends
• At least 2 years of game testing experience
• Successfully shipped at least one title on mobile, console, or PC
