Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of civil, structural, MEP, and architectural works in alignment with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Verify that all materials and workmanship adhere to contractual and international quality standards.
• Identify and document quality issues by raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and following through on corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and validate test reports, calibration certificates, and material submittals.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC records and documentation as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Participate in internal and external audits, support root cause analysis, and drive quality improvements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within large-scale infrastructure or airport construction projects.
• In-depth understanding of ISO 9001 standards and construction-related codes (such as ACI, ASTM, BS).
• Proficiency in using quality tools including ITPs, audit checklists, and quality documentation systems.
• Strong analytical, observational, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CSWIP, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
