Job description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist in cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender submissions
  • Support financial management across project lifecycles, including budgeting, valuation, and reporting
  • Review and assess contractor valuations, variations, and claims, providing professional recommendations
  • Assist in the preparation of cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts
  • Support procurement activities, including the evaluation of subcontractor submissions
  • Monitor project costs and identify potential commercial risks or variances
  • Ensure strict adherence to contractual obligations and internal commercial policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • 4–6 years of professional experience in quantity surveying
  • Working knowledge of contract conditions, such as FIDIC, and standard commercial practices
  • Experience working on projects within the UAE is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Progress toward professional certification (e.g., MRICS, PMP)
  • Proficiency with cost management software and ERP systems
