White Circle is an AI Safety company building the safety, reliability, and optimization layer for AI systems. We use natural-language policies to automatically test, enforce, and improve AI model behavior at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment for AI Research, ML, data, evaluations, and ML infra roles
• Partner with research leadership and CEO to define specialized candidate profiles
• Source talent from AI labs, research organizations, universities, and open-source communities
• Evaluate candidate contributions and technical depth across various ML disciplines
• Design structured hiring processes to assess research depth and engineering ability
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience in a highly competitive market
• Track recruiting performance and improve sourcing workflows

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, specifically hiring Research and ML talent
• Proven track record hiring Research Scientists, ML Engineers, or ML Infrastructure Engineers
• Deep understanding of LLM training, fine-tuning, inference, and ML infrastructure
• Ability to interpret technical profiles, publications, and open-source contributions
• Experience recruiting across US and European markets
• Fluent English (C1+)
• Ability to operate with ambiguity in an early-stage startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for frontier AI labs or AI safety organizations
• Existing network among AI researchers and ML specialists
• Experience sourcing via GitHub, conference programs, and academic citations
• Technical or research background in Computer Science, ML, or Mathematics
