Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new clients (predominately law enforcement and government sector) within the assigned regional territory
  • Develop detailed territory plans to drive expansion of customer base
  • Prepare and deliver in market customer face to face presentations
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of customer’s environment, workflow, and how our solution aligns with their needs
  • Act on and qualify incoming leads
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all sales activities in Salesforce
  • Partner engagement to prioritize Magnet products and solutions in their portfolio
  • Research and prioritize industry events in region, combined with creating Magnet hosted event
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience in a sales role, selling software or technology solutions
  • Experience selling to government and/or law enforcement
  • Track record of over-plan sales achievement
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Proven experience in building and executing on detailed territory plans
  • Competitive by nature with a drive to win
  • Creative with the ability to think on your feet
