Regional Director, Sites

Responsibilities

• Manage staff across multiple sites to ensure alignment with protocols, regulatory requirements, and company standards
• Own overall performance of assigned sites, including enrollment, data quality, compliance, and team culture
• Ensure sites are appropriately staffed and equipped, recommending resource allocations based on business needs
• Collaborate with PIs to align engagement with study goals and operational strategy
• Optimize the study portfolio for profitability and patient value
• Lead and develop CRCs and site-based research staff through coaching and performance management
• Monitor KPIs and performance trends to drive site-level improvements
• Serve as the primary operational liaison between site staff and central functions

Requirements

• Knowledge of critical elements for success in clinical trials and ability to review protocols
• Ability to influence change management and model flexibility
• Strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills for short and long-term success
• Ability to use data to identify trends and draw conclusions
• Demonstrated ability to manage people and projects
• Working knowledge of CTMS, eDC, and other core research systems
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a large site network and optimizing operations
• Experience with gastroenterology and/or hepatology studies
