Responsibilities

  • Build, hire, and lead a high-performing team of SLED Account Executives
  • Set and execute go-to-market strategy for state agencies, local governments, and educational institutions
  • Personally engage in large, strategic, multi-threaded sales cycles across Engineering, IT, Security, and Procurement
  • Coach team members to become trusted product experts through trials and technical evaluations
  • Build executive relationships at the CIO, CISO, and superintendent level
  • Establish ROI frameworks tied to developer productivity and AI adoption
  • Serve as the voice of the SLED customer to internal leadership to shape roadmap and compliance
  • Navigate and build repeatable playbooks for state and local procurement processes and contract vehicles

Requirements

  • 6+ years of SLED or enterprise technology sales experience
  • 2+ years leading and scaling a quota-carrying sales team
  • Experience in developer tools, technical SaaS, infrastructure, or cybersecurity
  • Proven track record of building teams that land new logos and exceed quota
  • Deep understanding of SLED buying motions, procurement processes, and partner ecosystems
  • Strong analytical approach to pipeline and forecasting
  • Passion for AI and developer productivity tools
