Job description
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive, data-driven sales strategy and business plan to grow market development throughout the region
- Build and lead a team of high-performing Oncology Specialists to increase profitability and market share
- Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop staff
- Develop and enhance customized pitches to Oncologists and the cancer care community
- Use data to analyze sales results, identify industry trends, and stay abreast of competition
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of field sales management experience in molecular diagnostics or liquid biopsy
- Experience leading a team of sales reps selling directly to Oncologists
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals (e.g., President’s Club, Chairman’s Club)
- Strong negotiation, closing, and data analysis skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a startup environment and build out a new territory
- Must reside in the Southern California region (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego) or a nearby state
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a startup environment
- Clinical laboratory experience
