Job description

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive, data-driven sales strategy and business plan to grow market development throughout the region
  • Build and lead a team of high-performing Oncology Specialists to increase profitability and market share
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop staff
  • Develop and enhance customized pitches to Oncologists and the cancer care community
  • Use data to analyze sales results, identify industry trends, and stay abreast of competition

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of field sales management experience in molecular diagnostics or liquid biopsy
  • Experience leading a team of sales reps selling directly to Oncologists
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals (e.g., President’s Club, Chairman’s Club)
  • Strong negotiation, closing, and data analysis skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a startup environment and build out a new territory
  • Must reside in the Southern California region (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego) or a nearby state

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a startup environment
  • Clinical laboratory experience
