Regional Market Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on state regulations within the region
• Develop, lead, and mentor a team of Market Compliance Managers
• Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and manage relationships
• Coordinate reporting and responses to regulators regarding major issues like adverse events or product concerns
• Develop and implement regional compliance strategies aligned with enterprise goals
• Oversee compliance execution across retail and production operations
• Partner with Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs to influence regulatory developments
• Lead risk assessments and develop corrective action plans
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and expansion activities through regulatory assessments
• Lead product commercialization efforts including packaging and labeling reviews
• Prepare and deliver compliance reports, dashboards, and KPIs
• Conduct periodic site visits to validate compliance practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, operations, or regulatory functions in a highly regulated industry
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing compliance programs
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic compliance initiatives
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and experience liaising with government agencies
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel up to 20%
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must pass all required background checks
