Regional Medical Director

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, mentor, and support a group of 30-40 clinicians, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
• Manage Clinical Leads to provide day-to-day guidance to clinician teams
• Provide continuous improvement feedback and quarterly quality and performance evaluations
• Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and standards to ensure high-quality care
• Review and analyze clinical and business data to drive improvements in KPIs, billing, and coding accuracy
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to promote clinician well-being and patient engagement
• Align clinical strategies with overall business goals and participate in strategic initiatives

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• ABIM certified endocrinologist or ABOM certification
• Valid medical license in relevant states
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Director or Clinical Management experience overseeing 8-10 clinicians
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in obesity medicine
• Proven experience in telemedicine practice management
• Ability to work primarily within PST business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in MBA, MPA, or MPH
• Experience in a high-growth telemedicine environment
