Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert strategic partnerships with RIA Aggregators, Broker/Dealers, TPAs, Payroll Providers, and Banks.
  • Develop and manage a robust retirement plan sales pipeline through strategic outreach and cold calling.
  • Consult with prospects regarding plan features and demographics to determine optimal plan types.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and maintain expertise in retirement plan record-keeping and technology.
  • Manage hand-off processes to implementation and client success teams.
  • Own and deliver on plan sales and revenue targets within the assigned region.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in retirement, FinTech, or wealth management.
  • Intimate knowledge of how retirement plan advisors build and manage practices.
  • Proven track record of managing sales regions and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to conversion.
  • Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling retirement plan record-keeping and administration.
  • Previous coverage of the small and emerging corporate retirement plan market.
  • Experience in the Midwest, Great Lakes, or Rust Belt regions.
  • Understanding of record-keepers, TPAs, and 3(16) administrators.
  • Financial services certifications such as Series 65, Series 7, or CFA.
