Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the region’s performance, driving the journey from pipeline generation to revenue realization.
  • Champion the Backbase sales operating model to ensure we focus on well-qualified, high-value opportunities.
  • Recruit, coach, and lead a world-class sales team, embedding a culture of urgency, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Partner Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to ensure the customer journey is seamless.
  • Establish yourself as a recognized expert and thought leader in the region, actively participating in industry events and forums.
  • Build deep, trust-based relationships with C-level stakeholders, positioning Backbase as a strategic partner.

Requirements

  • Proven sales leader with a strong track record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing enterprise sales teams.
  • Extensive experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles, preferably in software or fintech environments.
  • Possess the executive presence and ability to build lasting, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders at financial institutions.
  • Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
  • Demonstrates a customer-obsessed, action-oriented, and radically candid approach, committed to continuously raising the bar for the team.
