Job description

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Support members in managing chronic digestive conditions, comorbidities, dietary supplements, and probiotics.
  • Apply evidence-based strategies such as FODMAP, elimination diets, and mindful eating to improve member quality of life.
  • Utilize counseling skills including motivational interviewing and behavior change models to support member goals.
  • Guide members in building self-efficacy through education, SMART goal-setting, and accountability.
  • Document all sessions in accordance with clinical guidelines, company standards, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and optimal member care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) status certified through the CDR.
  • Valid state licensure.
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones, including evenings and weekends.
  • A quiet, professional, dedicated workspace with secure high-speed internet.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of outpatient dietitian experience.
  • Master’s degree in Dietetics or Human Nutrition.
  • NBC-HWC Certification.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred).
  • Multi-state licensure.
  • Specialized training in MI, SMART goal setting, or stages of change assessment.
