Reimbursement Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the collections process for payer balances and set targets for days sales outstanding (DSO) and aged AR
• Identify root causes of denials and underpayments and implement process improvements
• Oversee end-to-end billing operations, including charge capture, claims submission, and denial management
• Monitor key performance indicators such as clean claim rate, denial rate, and collection rate
• Supervise, train, and develop billing and collections staff
• Ensure compliance with payer contracts, coding guidelines, and regulations including HIPAA and CMS rules
• Prepare monthly reporting and forecasts for revenue cycle performance
• Lead audits and quality control related to billing practices

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of collections, billing, and/or cash posting experience in specialty infusion or oncology healthcare
• Strong knowledge of payer requirements, claims processes, and denial management
• Experience with billing/EHR systems and clearinghouses
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
