About the Company

The European Payments Initiative is changing the way Europe pays with Wero, a proudly European digital wallet designed to make payments easier, clearer, and more secure. Backed by 16 major banks and the two largest European acquirers, EPI is building a brand new, pan-European payment system.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPI acquiring members as a trusted day-to-day contact
  • Organize member engagement through community forums and bilateral meetings
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans to accelerate Wero acceptance across European markets
  • Identify and engage new acceptance providers and acquiring partners to expand the EPI network
  • Support prospecting activities, including pitching EPI and presenting solutions
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new members with Product, Legal, and Operations teams
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop sales and enablement materials
  • Represent EPI at industry events and conferences

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the payments industry
  • Proven background in payments, partnerships, sales, or member relationships
  • Strong understanding of payment transaction flows (Issuing / Acquiring)
  • Experience in influencing, selling, and negotiation within the financial industry
  • Strong account management, presentation, and networking skills
  • Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2)
  • Ability to thrive in a remote-first, multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in German, French, or other European languages
