Release Train Engineer (RTE)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the servant leader and facilitator for the Agile Release Train (ART)
• Plan, organize, and facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops
• Support Agile and SAFe adoption through coaching and mentoring
• Proactively identify and manage program-level risks, dependencies, and impediments
• Maintain and communicate ART metrics to program leadership
• Drive continuous delivery pipeline improvement through automation and CI/CD optimization
• Ensure compliance with federal Agile delivery standards

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Agile software delivery environments
• 8+ years as a Release Train Engineer or Senior Agile Program Manager
• Deep knowledge of SAFe principles and Lean-Agile leadership
• Expertise in Agile lifecycle tools like Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps
• SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
• Familiarity with cloud-based development (AWS/Azure)
