Responsibilities

• Anchor a weekly newsletter exploring the biggest trends and news driving the future of defense in space
• Help Axios readers make sense of the evolution of militaries and war by identifying and explaining key topics
• Serve as a public authority on stage and elsewhere to illuminate important defense and space issues

Requirements

• Reporting experience in a fast-paced news environment
• Demonstrated experience landing big scoops and conceptualizing big ideas
• Strong writing skills for online and newsletters
• Ability to command a stage and conduct live interviews
• Experience working across teams to produce quality content
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to Smart Brevity writing style
