Restaurant Operations & Technology Consultant

Back of House aims to help and empower restaurants through education and the application of 3rd party technology solutions. We are building the future of the industry alongside chefs and owners.

Responsibilities

• Consult with restaurant operators to identify business and technology solutions
• Connect operators to vetted 3rd party vendor solutions as an advocate and broker
• Build proactive relationships with the parent company sales organization
• Assist in vetting new 3rd party partners and their technology
• Continuously learn about emerging restaurant technologies
• Support internal and external events such as webinars, podcasts, and food shows
• Collaborate with Product, Content, and Growth teams to inform strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the restaurant industry
• Experience in business consulting or restaurant technology vendor roles
• Deep knowledge of restaurant operations and growth from an owner or GM perspective
• Proven experience in customer relationship management and communicating with business leaders
• Fluency in both English and Spanish
• Experience in sales roles is highly valued
• Ability to work with ambiguity and a startup mentality

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in a related field or equivalent experience
