About the Company
SafeLease is a profitable insurance business that designs, underwrites, and distributes specialty coverage for commercial property owners and their tenants. We back our policies with our own capital, controlling the full stack from product design to technology.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute the go-to-market distribution strategy for manufactured housing insurance products
- Hire, lead, and coach the sales team
- Identify and own relationships with distribution partners including community owners, REITs, and dealer networks
- Construct a distribution mix that balances growth with unit economics
- Inform product improvements and underwriting decisions based on market feedback
- Own the vertical’s revenue number, including quota, retention, and P&L lines
Requirements
- 10+ years in revenue leadership, distribution, or commercial roles in insurance, insurtech, or B2B financial services
- Working knowledge of the manufactured housing industry and existing relationships with industry partners
- Proven track record of launching or scaling a new product line from a standing start
- Experience owning a revenue number (quota, retention, or P&L)
- Hands-on experience building and managing sales teams
- Ability to build processes in a fast-moving, evolving environment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in property, habitational, or tenant protection insurance
- Underwriting experience or knowledge of commercial P&C principles
- Familiarity with manufactured housing regulatory environments
- Experience in high-growth insurtech or scale-up environments
