Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management program to measure, monitor, and report on various risks, primarily on operational and technology risks.
• Conduct risk assessments, registers, and ensure adherence to regulations including BCP, RCSAs, etc.
• Create and manage policies and processes for identifying, evaluating, and controlling enterprise risks.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure risk management methodologies meet expectations and needs.
• Address matters related to risk management from regulators and auditors, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Design and maintain risk management metrics at a local, regional, and global level.
• Develop risk management strategies in collaboration with Compliance peers and stakeholders across the globe.
• Provide support for risk management activities for other jurisdictions, aiding local risk directors in regions such as EU and MENA.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience as a risk management professional in a regulated financial services environment.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global organization while maintaining cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven capability to establish industry-leading risk management frameworks.
• Strong understanding of crypto and blockchain environments, including relevant regulations.
• Previous experience in crypto exchanges or Alternative Trading Systems is advantageous.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and writing skills suitable for diverse audiences.
• Proactive teamwork and strong interpersonal skills; highly organized and adept at managing projects.
