Risk & Underwriting Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex pricing models used by international group underwriters
• Streamline financial metrics reports prepared by underwriting team
• Evaluate, price and modify plan design for renewals and new business on Large Corporate quotations
• Collaborate with client managers and brokers to ensure expectations on product and pricing are met
• Manage portfolio of accounts balancing profitability and revenue
• Analyze results for trends and patterns to implement benefit changes
• Provide technical business knowledge and cost management options to sales and client management
• Maintain market awareness regarding competition and client needs

Requirements

• 3-5 years of insurance experience in finance, underwriting, actuarial, or data analytics
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to query large data sets using SQL
• High level of numeracy and accuracy
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial science, or a related field
• Exposure to Power BI
