About the Company

At Bedrock, we’re moving AI out of the lab and into the real world. Our team is composed of industry veterans who helped launch Waymo, scaled Segment to a $3.2B acquisition, and grew Uber Freight to $5B in revenue. We are deploying autonomous systems on heavy construction machinery to accelerate infrastructure projects and improve job site safety.

Responsibilities

  • Run evaluations on site data to predict autonomous performance and validate release readiness
  • Debug complex issues across the entire stack, including hydraulic sensors, compute hardware, and high-level behavior
  • Collaborate with Partnerships to identify new customer sites aligned with the product roadmap
  • Provide technical feedback to the engineering team to influence next-generation systems
  • Lead customer discussions regarding site progression and system integration

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a technical role focused on critical onboard and off-board systems
  • Proficiency in Python, Rust, C++, or similar languages and Linux
  • Strong understanding of robotics stacks including sensor fusion (LiDAR, GNSS, IMU), computer vision, motion planning, and controls
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, CAN bus communication, and use industry debug tools
  • Experience with data visualization and analytical tools
  • Willingness to travel to construction sites

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with deployed robotics
