Job description

Responsibilities

  • Teach Robotics and Coding to students in grades 1 to 10 using a gamified, 1-on-1 live instruction approach
  • Facilitate student projects based on the Robotics curriculum guide, including building and experimenting with hardware
  • Teach microcontroller programming using Arduino, ESP32, and other platforms
  • Guide students through coding logic, sequences, and structures to create games, animations, apps, and websites
  • Resolve technical doubts and troubleshoot hardware or software issues for students
  • Communicate effectively with international students to ensure an immersive learning experience

Requirements

  • Degree in Robotics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, or Electronics Engineering
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Scratch (Block Coding), Python, or C
  • Strong technical knowledge of sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Stable internet connection with at least 20Mbps upload and download speeds
  • Working webcam and microphone
  • Reliable computer running Windows 10+ or macOS 10.13+

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong oratory skills and a confident, presentable teaching style
  • Passion for teaching and co-learning in an EdTech environment
