Robotics Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software systems for robotics applications, including navigation and aerial robotics systems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++ and Python
• Integrate and calibrate various sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, and IMUs
• Process, analyze, and interpret sensor data for real-time decision-making and control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to design, test, and improve robotic systems
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure robust operation in diverse environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in robotics software development
• Proficiency in C++ and Python with strong understanding of OOP and design patterns
• Extensive experience with sensor data processing, including calibration, filtering, and fusion
• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with flight controllers like Ardupilot or PX4
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to robotics
• Hands-on experience with hardware integration and prototyping
• Understanding of control systems and kinematics
